QUALICUM BEACH
PROJECT
Situated on the ocean, this project required maximizing the home to the allowable lot coverage while using every square inch efficiently—avoiding a 30" lift of the entire structure. Working within strict footprint and height limits, we optimized circulation and storage, and secured a modest living room fireplace bump‑out to enhance usable floor area without compromising views or light. Meeting our clients’ full wish list within these constraints made this a challenging and rewarding accomplishment.
LIVING/DINING
We redesigned the entry to create a warm and welcoming ambiance, aligning sightlines to highlight the ocean as the living and dining area's focal point. Expansive windows and open layouts ensure natural light and views take center stage, enhancing the indoor‑outdoor connection.
DEN
The den serves as a versatile space perfect for a games room—or as extra sleeping quarters for guests. Situated by the ocean, We designed a covered outdoor patio at the front, ensuring you can still enjoy the stunning scenery regardless of the elements.
KITCHEN
The kitchen is designed to bring the stunning ocean view into focus. Expansive windows frame the seascape, ensuring natural light fills the space. Sleek countertops and streamlined fixtures combine for a modern yet functional aesthetic, making cooking a delight with unparalleled views.

The primary bathroom offers a serene and contemporary sanctuary designed with both style and functionality in mind. A spacious walk-in shower features sleek fixtures and ample natural light through thoughtfully placed windows. The warm wood cabinetry provides both storage and warmth, while the elegant countertop and fixtures bring a touch of modern sophistication. Featuring a spacious tub with a sleek glass partition, it offers both the functionality of a shower and the relaxation of a soaking bath. The laundry and storage room is designed for maximum efficiency and organization. Featuring a spacious layout, it includes modern, high-efficiency washer and dryer units, complemented by ample countertop space for sorting and folding. Custom cabinetry optimizes storage for laundry supplies, while a utility sink provides added functionality for quick clean-ups or hand-washing delicate items. Thoughtful lighting enhances visibility, making chores easier and more pleasant. This room is a perfect blend of practicality and stylish design, ensuring your laundry experience is both efficient and enjoyable.
SPROAT LAKE PROJECT
For this project, our goal was to expand the kitchen and enhance storage solutions for our clients. Given the lot's landscape, we were constrained to the existing square footage. To create a brighter, more spacious feel in the cottage, we incorporated a large picture window, installed glass exterior doors, and replaced the cedar strip walls and ceilings with drywall, while preserving the beautiful wood of the A-frame ceiling. Additionally, we transformed a back bedroom by removing the wall to create a more functional kitchen layout.

We transformed an existing bedroom into a spacious kitchen that seamlessly combines storage, functionality, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The design prioritizes efficiency with ample cabinetry and counter space, perfect for cooking and entertaining. In this cozy living room, we enhanced the atmosphere by brightening the walls with fresh drywall, which creates an open and inviting feel. A stylish wall sconce on the stairway adds both elegance and function, while a ceiling fan improves air circulation for year-round comfort. We thoughtfully designed designated areas for the TV and additional storage, maximizing every inch of this small space without sacrificing style. The result is a harmonious blend of practicality and charm, perfect for relaxation and family gatherings.

we transformed the primary bedroom by enhancing the ceiling, often referred to as the "fifth wall" of a space. We introduced elegant shiplap detailing and wooden beams that add depth and character to the room.
The focal point is a beautiful chandelier that provides ambient lighting, complemented by transitional bedside pendant lights for both style and practicality. This design elevates the overall aesthetic, creating a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere that invites relaxation. The Texada, Nanaimo British Columbia
Completed in 2015, this kitchen and bathroom renovation featured a dark wood color scheme paired with river rock tile accents. While these design elements added a sense of warmth, they also contributed to a feeling of confinement and darkness within the spaces.
Embracing the latest interior design trends, we transformed the living areas by introducing a brighter color palette that enhances natural light. Updated lighting fixtures, modern countertops, fresh tile selections, and sleek appliances all work together to create an open, airy atmosphere. This thoughtful redesign not only revitalizes the aesthetic but also enhances the functionality, making the spaces feel more inviting and spacious.

We expertly combined White Soho UV-lacquered high-gloss cabinets with rich rift-cut walnut featuring a clear finish for the island and pantry. This striking contrast adds depth and warmth to the space. The tiled glass backsplash elegantly captures and reflects light from the expansive window above the sink, enhancing the kitchen's brightness and creating a vibrant atmosphere for cooking and entertaining.
