A wild Pacific swell frozen mid-crash. This tall, softly curved vase is wheel-thrown in smooth Laguna B-Mix stoneware and then painted with fearless, gestural strokes of rich cobalt-blue glaze that surge and break across the surface like waves slamming into a Vancouver Island shoreline. Some strokes are thick and inky, others feathered and translucent, creating real movement and depth. The rim and foot stay crisp white, letting the drama of the blue speak for itself.
Inside, the glaze has pooled and spiralled on its own, leaving a secret tide pool of colour you only see when you look down.
At 7.75 inches tall with a generous 3.75-inch opening, it’s made for big, lush bouquets, tall grasses, or simply standing alone as a bold, sculptural presence.
